Program Form
This form is mandatory for scheduling your recital and must be typed to be accepted. This will allow the Program Staff to format your recital program. Please fill it out completely or attach a separate sheet with the required information. Have your instructor sign either the provided form (if completed) or your attached sheet. Make sure to read the Rules for Scheduling Recitals (PDF) to ensure your program's completion.
Reception Guidelines
If you are holding a reception in a Northwestern University School of Music building, please adhere to these guidelines. Please note that, per Northwestern University policy, no alcoholic beverages may be distributed on university property.
Special Request Form
Any change to a scheduled recital must be accompanied by a Special Request Form signed by both your instructor and your department chair. This includes (but is not limited to) time changes, venue changes, or date changes. The Concert Office reserves the right to decline petition if circumstances do not demonstrate exceptional need or if scheduling restraints prevent the enactment of your request.
Reserving Rehearsal and Recording Space
Bienen School of Music students may reserve up to two 2-hour sessions in Lutkin or MCR for rehearsal or recording purposes no earlier than four weeks in advance. Students must come in person to the Concert Office during booking hours (M, T, W, F: 9 a.m. - noon; Th: 1 - 4 p.m.) to reserve time.
