Renowned clarinetist Karl Leister gives a master class. Leister was a child prodigy who first studied clarinet with his father, also a famous German clarinetist. Winner of numerous awards at international music competitions, he became a solo clarinetist with the Komische Oper Berlin at age 19 and went on to play with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra for 30 years while enjoying an international career as a soloist and chamber musician.
Featured Bienen School of Music students include Jennifer Michaels, Michael Rezzo, Kristin King, and Michael Yoshimi. Featured music includes Brahms, Schumann, and Mozart.
