Trumpeter, composer, and conductor Stephen Burns is the founder and artistic director of Chicago's Fulcrum Point New Music Project. He has made solo, chamber, and orchestral appearances worldwide, including performances at the White House, on NBC's Today Show, and on NPR's All Things Considered. In recent seasons he has appeared with the Atlanta Symphony, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris, the Arturo Toscanini Orchestra of Parma, the Japan National Philharmonic, and the Seattle Symphony.
