Gustav Mahler, Symphony No. 3
Bienen School of Music faculty member Karen Brunssen has made solo appearances with major orchestras throughout the US, and her recent engagements include a European tour performing Verdi's Requiem in Germany, France, Spain, and Switzerland. Chicago's Anima youth chorus, now celebrating its 47th year, has performed with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Music of the Baroque. The group's performances with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Sir Georg Solti, garnered four Grammy Awards.
This performance will also be presented as a live webcast.
Tickets are $12 for the general public and $6 for students.
