Grammy Award winner and 13-time DownBeat Critics Poll “Male Singer of the Year,” Kurt Elling is among the world’s foremost jazz vocalists. The Washington Post declares that “no singer in jazz has been as daring, dynamic, or interesting,” adding that “he has come to embody the creative spirit of jazz.” Elling has recorded 10 albums and has collaborated with such jazz greats as Dave Brubeck, Charlie Hunter, and Al Jarreau. He is accompanied by the highly acclaimed Chicago Jazz Orchestra and the Spektral Quartet in a program exploring the songbook of the iconic Cole Porter.
