“Two chords on the guitar and you’re hooked,” says Sweden’s Smålandsposten of guitarist and composer Johannes Möller. With over 500 performances and compositions numbering nearly 40, the 2010 prizewinner of the Guitar Foundation of America’s annual competition has captivated audiences throughout the world with charismatic and soulful performances. Möller has been praised by the London Evening Standard for achieving “miracles with his lucid, spacious playing,” and his compositions have been recognized for their fusion of contemporary Western and traditional Eastern music. His performance will include works by Albéniz, Barrios, and Gougeon, as well as his own compositions.
