Janet Hilton Clarinet Master Class

A brief performance by Janet Hilton is followed by a master class with Bienen School clarinet students. Hilton has appeared with most major British orchestras and at the Edinburgh, Cheltenham, and BBC Promenade Concerts festivals in addition to appearances in Europe, the United States, and Canada. Also a leading teacher, she served as head of the woodwind department at the Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal College of Music. Hilton’s extensive discography includes recordings of much of the clarinet repertoire for Chandos, EMI, BBC Classics, and Naxos. This event will also be presented as a live webcast.
