The Chicago Tribune hails the Dover Quartet’s “Expert musicianship, razor-sharp ensemble, deep musical feeling and a palpable commitment to communication.” Since taking the 2013 Banff International String Quartet Competition by storm, the quartet has become a major presence on the international scene. Highlights of their 2016-17 season included the release of their debut recording, a US tour with bassist-composer Edgar Meyer, performances of the complete Beethoven quartet cycles, and—most recently—their receipt of a 2017 Avery Fisher Career Grant.
