Winner of the 2002 Naumburg International Piano Competition, the Swiss-born American pianist is the recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant, winner of the Geneva Competition, and has appeared with such distinguished orchestras as the Warsaw Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and San Francisco Symphony. Vonsattel has performed recitals and chamber music at Ravinia, Tokyo’s Musashino Hall, Wigmore Hall, Bravo! Vail, Music@Menlo, and the Gilmore Festival. A member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Vonsattel has collaborated with artists including Kim Kashkashian, Jerome Lowenthal, David Shifrin, Heinz Holliger, and Yo-Yo Ma.
