Along with Bach’s Brandenburg Concerti, the concerti grossi of George Frideric Handel are pinnacles of baroque instrumental composition. Their charming interplay of concertino and ripieno players reflects the composer’s unique genius. The Baroque Music Ensemble will present delightful selections from Handel’s Op. 3 and Op. 6 Concerti Grossi featuring flute, oboe, and string soloists.

Tickets are $7 for the general public, $5 for seniors and Northwestern faculty and staff, and $4 for students.

Seating Capacity: 403

Lutkin is located on Univeristy Place between Sherman Avenue and Sheridan Road, behind the Music Administration Building. University Place is only accessible from Sherman Avenue; it does not intersect with Sheridan Road or Chicago Avenue.

Free parking is available along University Place or in the Music Administration Building lot southwest of Lutkin. Wheelchair accessible parking is available. Note that a university parking permit is required to park on University Place or in the MAB lot until 4 p.m. on weekdays.

The main entrance for concerts is located off University Place on the north side of the building.

A wheelchair accessible entrance is located in the southwest corner of the building.

Restrooms are located on the west side of the building behind the auditorium. Follow the hallway on south side of building around to the back of the auditorium.
